Cracking the Chat Log Logic

Building a compelling detective game means mastering the flow of information. This week, I focused entirely on designing realistic, branching chat scripts. If the player presses the suspect too hard, they shut down. If they act too casual, they lose the lead. Balancing the puzzle difficulty while keeping the dialogue grounded in a real smartphone ecosystem is tougher than it looks, but the tools are proving incredibly flexible.
